Hello!
New to the forum here. Have had ZERO luck tracking down an answer with MIDAS support or on their forums so I'm hoping that someone here has run in to the same problem I'm having.
Church I work for has an M32 at FOH and an X32 for backstage monitor, both running AES to the DL32. From our M32 we are running MADI coax out to our live stream setup that is a separate mix. For the past few weeks we have sporadic drop outs in our mains and on our live stream. All sound will drop live and online and then come back with 1-2 seconds. I at first thought it could be a problem with the M32. Luckily we have an X32 rack so we moved that to backstage monitor and our X32 to FOH to see if that worked and it didn't.
In trying different things I noticed that pushing the Mute All button on the front of the DL32 imitates the drop out problem almost exactly. So I've tested continuity on my AES cables and the AES ports. The FOH clock is set to internal and is reading the DL32 and the same for the backstage monitor setup. The only thing I can think is that the DL32 is for some reason triggering the Mute All option randomly throughout our sets. It was purchased in 2020 so there hasn't been a "recent" firmware update.
Would LOVE some insight or other ideas to try and test. The problem is near impossible to replicate so I'm about to the point of buying a new DL32 to see if that changes anything.
Thanks in advance!
