C'mon y'all....Grainger is yo' friend!
Where do you attach the carabiner to?i'm very fond of this one:Tool Lanyard - Single Carabiner | Ergodyne
Single Carabiner Tool Lanyard features a locking carabiner on one end and a low-profile cinch loop on the other to tether tools up to 15lb // 6.8kg and prevent dropped or falling objects from occurring on the job.www.ergodyne.com
the carabiner snaps to me, the cinch loop wraps around the tool and works even with tools that don't have a hole to clip into. and it's rated. and it's under ten bucks.
i prefer a webbing belt except when i'm dressing up, so i clip to the belt. the belt and its buckle are distinctly burlier than the 30 pound breaking strength that ANSI calls for, although i do admit that i don't have hard data on it.Where do you attach the carabiner to?
That’s what I was looking for. So often I see people clipping to their belt loop.i prefer a webbing belt except when i'm dressing up, so i clip to the belt. the belt and its buckle are distinctly burlier than the 30 pound breaking strength that ANSI calls for, although i do admit that i don't have hard data on it.
